Novels

My debut novel Signal to Noise, was released in 2015 by Solaris and has been nominated for British Fantasy, Sunburst, Aurora and Locus awards. The Guardian said it is “a magical first novel,” Locus called it “one of the most important fantasy debuts of the year” and Kirkus described it as a “rich, elaborate symphony of awesome that defies simple definitions.”  All kinds of reviews and more information about it can be found here.

My next two novels, Certain Dark Things and Proper People, will be published by Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin’s Press.

Certain Dark Things

Certain Dark Things

A teenage garbage picker meets a vampire in Mexico City. But narcos are after them. "Not since Anne Rice’s seminal Interview with the Vampire has the vampire story been so radically reimagined. Silvia Moreno-Garcia reinvents it for the 21st century in this high-concept, explosive tale of narco-vampires in Mexico City and just when you thought it was safe to step out of the coffin. Certain Dark Things is dark, inimitable, and so very, very cool. Unmissable.” - Lavie Tidhar, World Fantasy Award Winning Author of Osama More info →
